The Yellow Door Day Nursery has a highly trained team who are committed, dedicated and passionate in achieving outstanding outcomes for all the children who attend The Yellow Door Day Nursery.. Our staff choose to work here because they are dedicated to caring and enriching the lives of children. Every member of staff at The Yellow Door Day Nursery including administrative and kitchen staff is trained in Paediatric First Aid.. That means your child will be in an environment where safety is a priority and risk of accidents are minimised.. If an accident does happen,, or your child needs first aid due to medical conditions such as allergies,, you can trust they'’ll receive immediate and appropriate care.. Safeguarding and Food Hygiene training is regular and always up to date,, so you can trust how seriously we take our responsibilities. We are also members of the Tameside Early Years Consortium and attend regular training events.

We are very proud of our happy team of professionals!!
You can find further details of our staff members and their qualifications on the team noticeboard in the nursery foyer.

Nursery manager
The manager oversees the day to day running of the nursery. She makes sure the environment is safe and full of creative, enriching experiences for the children. The manager also takes on the role of designated safeguarding officer.

Deputy manager
Assists the Nursery Manager in the day to day running.. The Deputy Manager quality assures the teaching and learning practice within the nursery through moderation and observation.. The Deputy Manager is also the Deputy Safeguarding Officer, stepping up in the absence of the manager.

Classroom Practitioners
Our classroom practitioners are either qualified or working towards their Level 3. We operate a key person system for parents to use as a first port of call. However,, we also believe that a key person system has to work alongside joint shared responsibility amongst staff in the care of your child.. All our staff have the same expectations and standards to meet regardless of their hours/experience.. Regardless of a member of staff''s contracted hours it is pivotal to the ethos and uniqueness of The Yellow Door Day Nursery that all staff develop and establish good relationships with all parents and children. These relationships are also key for children when they complete transition from one room to the next..
